Two parks, Two Days, Two sets of Parents each with Two kids packed into Two mini vans are too tired to do anything!
Drew slept late. I think he's starting to get a little sick. Today we decided to take a break from the parks. We took our time eating our Honey Nut Cheerios and decided to head to Downtown Disney for a little shopping and a whole lot of Calorie packing!
We worked hard at shopping and treated ourselves to some Rainforest Cafe for lunch. Which reminds me it was a day of busting heads. Drew was swinging on the rope outside of the cafe and slipped off and busted his head on the concrete. Previous to that Zach tripped while running, landed on his ball but only to smash his forehead and eye on the concrete. Both survived fairly well. Later Zach managed to fall off of a train in a toy store to create the winning head bump bruise of the day!
The kids played in the sprinklers, Sara slept, and then we headed to Ghirardelli chocolate store for some yummie treats.
We headed back to the resort at 4 and the kids watched Cars while the ladies went to the grocery. We had roasted chicken for dinner before realizing that it was the last night we would be hear for the light parade and fireworks show at the Magic Kingdom. It became the race for the Parade as we threw the kids in the car and raced to the park.
We arrived in plenty of time and enjoyed both the light show parade and the fireworks over the castle!
Drew didn't do so well being sick he was too tired to eat dinner and barely did anything at the parade.
A restful day turned into a busy night. We got home at 10 and everyone went down for bed. Except me of course. I'm here with you.
