Friday started terrific and ended taking Sara to the ER for the Croup.
Friday morning we set off for Disney MGM Studios. This park was a great hit with the kids. We went to Playhouse Disney and watched a 30 minute show with Pooh and friends, JoJo, Stanley, some big funny looking Bear in a blue house. The kids loved it. We met the Little Einsteins and had our pictures taken with JoJo. After that we went to the Streets of America to meet Mater from Cars. Lightening McQueen was getting repair work done :-(
Lindsay enjoyed the Little Mermaid show and we tortured the kids by taking them to the muppet 3D show. (They hate 3D's ever since we went to the Bugs Life show). We watched Indiana Jones blow some things up and saw Beauty and the Beast. MGM was really a good time for the kids, except Sara who was apparently becoming rather ill.
We left the park a little early and went to eat at Lone Star. We wanted to get back to the Resort to get a little more time in the pool. Once the kids were in bed we all had a chance to sit back and relax a little.
About 11 pm Mary Ann and Marcy could hear Sara breathing abnormally. After steaming her in the bathroom with the shower on, we decided it best to take her to the ER for treatment. That lasted until about 3 am.
They diagnosed her with the Croup and Bronchiolitis. She had a 103.1 temperature when we got to the ER. They took xrays and drew blood. Gave her a breathing treatment and IV'd some steriods. Needless to say we did not get much sleep on Friday night. Nor, did I get a chance to update this site.
Sara's best memory of the day: The Tampa Bay Bear they gave her after poking her hand unsuccessfully to draw blood 2 times and then moving to her foot....WHATEVER.
