Coming Home
Up and at it early Saturday morning to start the drive back. Barb and Dennis were
preparing dinner for us at the house on What'cha Point. An uneventful drive. Drew
claimed to have seen a Mickey truck, but it turned out to be a truck with fog
lights...see uneventful.
We arrived at the Tyner house and we were greeted by the wonderful smell of grilled
ribs and chicken and fresh vegetables in the house. What a fantastic dinner.
Lindsay, Drew, Zach went fishing off the dock. Drew and Zach each caught a hand
sized catfish.
Charlie and I got to sit back and watch THE CATS BEAT LSU!!!!!
We got to tour the main house and WOW!
We had a pretty relaxing evening at the Tyners and got a great night of sleep. I
enjoyed talking with them. They are fun people and their stories about the house
made me appreciate all the work they did to get it in the pristine condition that it's in.
Sunday morning we awoke to bacon and pancakes. (and a diet coke for Marcy)
After breakfast we went out on the boat around the lake a little. The kids each had a
couple of turns driving. Drew likes more throttle whens he's driving apparently. The
GPS map looks like a bowl of spaghetti. They had a great time.
Then we hit the road.
